On this track that was recorded in 1996, 2Pac is again playing hard to rappers Jay-Z, Mobb Deep and Notorious BIG.
It’s an aggressive disstrack of the caliber that we are used to Pac and his group tha Outlawz.
In the intro, 2Pac immediately sets the tone with the following words:
”Jay-Z … come out to play…
Yo assassin … gimme one of them tracks
I can just ride on motherfuckers with…
Niggaz talkin bout we can’t rap?
Niggaz must not never heard no motherfuckin track off a death row nigga…
DEATH ROW… WESTSIDE… “”
Later on 2Pac Jay-Z attack with the lines:
“You’ve got a lot of nerve to play me.”
Another gay rapper, bustin caps at Jay-Z and still avoid capture, while all caught up in the rapture
Still after me, I’m in Jamacia sippin daiquiris… no doubt.”
Towards the end of the track 2Pac makes it clear what it says on it with the following lyrics:
”Us, the first to bust, who do we trust?
Out for Mobb deep and Jay-z, dead in the dust, i told you punks that i was after Biggie…
You got involved, now we bout to bust on all y’all… We goin all out… “
Death Row dissin ‘at its best on this one!
